-UPDATE- Major Hole On HWY 156 Fixed Road Is Now OPEN

-UPDATE-  As of midnight this morning (Saturday, April 14th) HWY 156 at Plum Creek is now OPEN to traffic

 

 

 

Switzerland County-State Road 156 at Plum Creek near Vevay will be close indefinitely due to structural damage to the roadway on the bridge at that location.

A 10ft x 10ft hole that is 20ft deep appeared around 10:15pm.

The bridge is just to the east of Vevay. Does effect travel to Belterra and Markland Dam.

Find an alternative route of travel and give yourself plenty of time before work.
