Male Walking Though Yards And Acting Suspicious Arrested In Jennings Co.

Arrested as a result of the investigation for Public Intoxication

The Sheriff’s Department received several reports of a male walking though yards and acting suspicious on CR 500 W in Geneva Township.

When Deputy Maberry, Col. Day, and Sheriff Driver made contact with the male he was walking across SR 7 N at CR 500 N. The male was identified as Robert Anderson, age 31 of CSL. Robert Anderson was arrested as a result of the investigation for Public Intoxication.


Deputy Maberry began to transport him when he jumped from the vehicle about a mile south of CR 500 N. Robert Anderson began to run in to a corn field where he was apprehended and fought with officers.

He was later transported in a secure jail van where he remained combative.
