(Madison, Ind.) – For the month of March, Jefferson Counties' unemployment rate stood steady at 4.3 percent, according to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
Currently, Jefferson County is ranked 40th for unemployment percentage out of Indiana’s 92 counties. The unemployment rate in Jefferson County remains lower than that of the state which is 4.7 percent.
