There are seven locations for bus WiFi.

File Photo

(Madison, Ind.) - By the end of the day today, we will have buses placed in the following areas throughout our county to help with drive-up WiFi access points.  We ask that you practice safe social distancing practices as you visit and use the bus WiFi and keep the areas neat and tidy and you come and go.  We want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to our community partners who are providing a space for us to park our buses!  We will be rotating them around to ensure all routers are charged and ready.

  • Brooksburg Baptist Church
  • Dupont Baptist Church
  • Hanover area bus stop behind McDonald's
  • Pisgah Church (Deputy Pike)
  • North Madison Christian Church
  • Canaan Restaurant/Canaan Lodge area
  • East Street, downtown Madison at the former Eggleston Elementary School

Our tech team has moved the routers located in the MCHS building to face outward.  The front parking lot (around the flag pole area) should be boosted to allow drive-up access in this area.  We are also working with Cinergy MetroNet to determine if there are areas they can boost existing routers to better serve public access points that can be used while maintaining safe social-distancing practices.

REMINDER of our Curbside Technology Support events scheduled this week.  A student can visit ANY location at ANY time for service.  Please review our safe practice procedures and use our Help Desk Form.

Deputy Elementary - Today and April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MJHS - April 8 & 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rykers' Ridge Elementary - April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

More dates will follow in May and we will communicate those once set.
