Lane closures and impacts to traffic are not expected
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of inspection activities next week on the Milton-Madison Bridge, which carries US 421 across the Ohio River between Milton, Ky. and Madison, In. Consultant crews will be performing the biennial bridge inspection June 24-28.
Lane closures and impacts to traffic are not expected as inspectors will be accessing the bridge from the ground and from the shoulder of the roadway. Some shoulder closures may be necessary. Inspection hours are currently scheduled daily 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
