Motorcycle Accident Kills One In Switzerland Co.

Friday afternoon at 3:23, the Switzerland Co. Sheriff's Office Dispatch received a report of a motorcycle accident on Plum Creek Road near Lower Dugan Road.

The driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Christopher Lynn "CJ" McAlister Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the crash scene by Switzerland County Emergency Response and the Jeff-Craig Fire Department.

According to his obituary, McAlister is survived by his wife Nicole and four children, as well as other relatives. The 2008 graduate of Switzerland County High School was employed as a surveillance agent for Belterra Casino & Resort.

The family is asking that memorial contributions be made to the Christopher Lynn “CJ” Memorial Fund.
