Johnson, Lowe, Sells and Leon have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty

July 14, 2023, Madison Police executed a narcotics search warrant on a residence in the 1600 block of Oak Hill Drive. The warrant was obtained as the result of an investigation led by Madison Police Officer Cameron Blankenship.
The executed warrant resulted in the arrest of four individuals, along with the seizure of narcotics and paraphernalia associated with the use of drugs.
Arrested: Benjamin Johnson 23, Madison, Indiana – Johnson faces preliminary alleged charges of; possession of methamphetamine, in the presence of a child, level 5 felony – possession of a legend drug level 6 felony – maintaining a common nuisance level 6 felony – neglect of a dependent level 6 felony – possession of paraphernalia class a misdemeanor.
Arrested: Charity Lowe 23, Madison, Indiana – Lowe faces preliminary alleged charges of; possession of methamphetamine, in the presence of a child, level 5 felony – possession of a legend drug level 6 felony – maintaining a common nuisance level 6 felony – neglect of a dependent level 6 felony - possession of paraphernalia class c misdemeanor.
Arrested: Ricky Sells 43, Madison, Indiana – Sells faces preliminary alleged charges of; possession of methamphetamine, in the presence of a child, level 5 felony – possession of a syringe level 6 felony – maintaining a common nuisance level 6 felony – neglect of a dependent level 6 felony - possession of paraphernalia class a misdemeanor.
Arrested: Christina Leon 37, Madison, Indiana – Leon faces preliminary alleged charges of; possession of methamphetamine, in the presence of a child, level 5 felony – possession of a syringe level 6 felony – maintaining a common nuisance level 6 felony – neglect of a dependent level 6 felony – possession of paraphernalia class a misdemeanor.
Officer Blankenship was assisted by Madison Police Officers Cody Lewis, Trent Smith, and Kayla Taylor-Moore. The Jefferson County Sheriff Department provided transportation to the Jefferson County Jail, and notification was made to the department of child services Johnson, Lowe, Sells and Leon have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
