(Ripley County, Ind.) – At the end of March, New Horizons Rehabilitation Center made the decision to suspend operations to protect the lives of their clients and staff.

The center has been able to continue some of its services such as residential are and has been able to provide limited services in Community Connections and with their Pre-ETS programs, but like most businesses, they are very anxious to re-open.

With this in mind, the center has put precautions in place so they can continue to protect the health and well-being of everybody involved.

“While it has been very hard to find the necessary supplies, we are very thankful for the organizations and individuals in our community that has stepped up to assist us in our time of need,” said the center.

While they have received some donations, the center is still in need of additional supplies to get through this unprecedented time, because like most companies these additional supplies were not planned in the budget.

The company is now reaching out asking for donations from those who are able to give them, so they can purchase masks, disinfectants, and other sanitizing items.

Donations can be on their website under the “Give” tab, you can also donate through Paypal or by mailing a check to New Horizons, 237 Six Pine Ranch Rd, Batesville, IN 47006.

If you would prefer to donate cleaning supplies, paper towels & disinfectant wipes can be dropped off on the bench in front of our Batesville location, the address mentioned above. Thick Papers towels will be especially useful as we are going to make our own disinfectant wipes; if we cannot find ones to purchase.
