One Minor, One Adult Taken To Hospital After Shooting At Noblesville School

Police have shooter in custody.

Noblesville West Middle School was put on lockdown after reports of shots fired.

Two victims have been transported to the hospital. One minor is going to Riley, while an adult is going to IU Health-Methodist in Indianapolis.

Their conditions are unknown.

The active shooter was reported by authorities in police custody around 9 a.m. this morning.

Lockdowns that were in place for Noblesville schools have all been lifted as of 10:30 a.m.

West students were evacuated and bused to the high school. Once all students are accounted for, all parents of West Middle School students have been directed to go to Noblesville High School to pick up their students. No students will be released to anyone other than their own parents.

No other Noblesville school district students are being released at this time - only West Middle School students have been released.
