(Madison, Ind.) – Prince of Peace Catholic Schools announced their re-entry plan today for the 2020-2021 school year.

POP has set its first student day to be August 5, with students attending in-person classes during their normally scheduled times.

Like other schools, there will be virtual learning for students who quarantine due to COVID-19.

Each class and all school common areas will have hand sanitizer available, and student technology will be cleaned regularly with the appropriate cleaning solutions.

All classrooms and class schedules will be adjusted to allow for proper social distancing.

The school also stated that ALL students and staff will be required to wear face masks, the Indiana Department of Education has released a 'Back to School Face Covering Guidance for Families', when distancing is not possible and when students are on the move. Throughout the day students may, at their discretion, wear masks throughout the day. Masks will also be required on the buses as well.

Parents are asked to monitor their students for signs and symptoms of COVID daily and monitor temperatures as well.
