Property Damage Accident Leads To Two Arrests

(Scott County, Ind.) – Two were arrested after leaving the scene of a property damage accident in rural Scott County.

On March 29, Deputy Chris Bowling, First Sergeant John Hartman, and Deputy Jessica Dickey responded to the report. After leaving the accident scene Deputy Bowling observed what he believed to be the alleged suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

The investigation, led to the arrest of 21-year-old Darien Capote, for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and visiting a common nuisance. 28-year-old John Candelario of Louisville was arrested for no commercial driver's license when required, possession of marijuana, leaving the scene of a property accident, and more.

The two are being held at the Scott County Jail.
