(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The City of Rising Sun announced that the Rising Sun Community Pool will remain closed until further notice.
The closure is due to an individual that was present at the pool on Friday, July 10 who has tested positive for COVID-19 as of Sunday. The infected person was said to be at the pool sometime between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., according to the City of Rising Sun.
Steps were taken to reopen the pool, but it remains closed due to a lack of employees.
Free COVID-19 testing is available at Rising Sun Church of Christ between 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. through Saturday, July 18. There is no appointment needed for the tests.
