Through the end of July
INDOT contractor Dave O'Mara will begin an $800,000 asphalt maintenance and paving project in Scottsburg on or after Thursday, May 23, weather permitting. Work will take place from Keith Street, east of U.S. 31, to Fourth Street.
Saw cutting and concrete removal will begin Thursday, followed by patching, milling and resurfacing.
Motorists should expect delays in the area as lane closures will be in effect throughout the work zone. Flaggers will be present to maintain traffic.
The project is expected to be complete by July 31, 2019.
