Salvation Army of Madison Accepting Volunteers For Red Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to work the Red Kettles outside of local stores.

(Madison, Ind.) – The Salvation Army is gearing up for the Christmas season, and they are asking for your help.

According to Columbia University researchers, 8 million more people in the US have slipped into poverty since May due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact that it has had on the economy. This means that now more than ever, people will be in need of this year's programs and services provided by The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Christmas Fundraising Campaign will be critical for the ability to provide those needed programs and services all throughout the year, as well as being able to provide Christmas assistance for families in need this holiday season.

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to work the Red Kettles outside of local stores. If you would like to volunteer, you can visit www.registertoring.com.

If you would like to donate to the Red Kettle Campaign, you will still be able to drop off cash or checks in the Red Kettles, or at The Salvation Army of Madison, located at 331 East Main Street.

For more information, you can contact The Salvation Army of Madison at (812) 265-2157.
