Scott Memorial Health Making Updates To Visitor Policy

This change of visitation went into effect yesterday Wednesday, February 24.

(Scott County, Ind.) – Scott Memorial Health announced yesterday that they will be updating their privacy policy.

This change of visitation went into effect yesterday Wednesday, February 24.

The hospital stated that as the number of patients with COVID-19 continues to decrease and for the comfort and security of patients, the hospital will begin welcoming back visitors for non-COVID-19 patients.

Visiting hours for the emergency entrance to the hospital to accommodate patients and families include Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The ER screener station will be open to accommodate patient visits and visitors.

Non-COVID-19 patients will be allowed one visitor at a time, per day. For patients in compassionate care or end-of-life situations, the hospital will accommodate for two family members to visit.
