SEI REMC Annual Meeting Draws Large Crowd, Directors Elected

(Versailles, Ind.) - Southeastern Indiana REMC held its annual meeting on March 23, drawing an attendance of nearly 500 people.

The annual meeting served as a platform for the REMC to showcase its achievements, discuss strategic initiatives, and elect new directors to the board. Attendees were welcomed by Board President Darrell Smith, who along with the rest of the board, CEO, and other industry leaders highlighted the REMC’s milestones and outlined its vision for the future.

One of the key highlights of the event was the election of directors for districts 2,3 and 6. The following individuals were re-elected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors.

  • District 2: Brad Bentle
  • District 3: David Smith
  • District 6: Mike Thieman

“We are thrilled to continue working with Brad, David, and Mike on our board of directors. Their diverse backgrounds and deep understanding of our industry will be invaluable as we navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead,” said Keith Mathews, CEO.

The annual meeting also provided an opportunity for attendees to engage in discussions, network with peers, and gain insights into the latest trends shaping the industry. Reports from Board officers, along with a panel discussion from industry leaders, enriched the event.
