Carroll Co. shows support locally

Several Kentucky school districts closed today as the teachers head to Frankfort.

Locally, Trimble, Gallatin, Owen, Oldham and Grant County schools, canceled classes so their teachers can go to the state capitol.

The latest "day of action" for teachers is set for today to tell Kentucky lawmakers that teachers want a new state budget that spends more on their classrooms.

Carroll Co. teachers and supporters meet last night at the intersection of HWY 227 and 42 to show their support for their school
