Single Vehicle Accident Sends Driver To Hospital

Air Methods Air 11 called to transport

Saturday morning at 11:24, Milton Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a single vehicle roll over accident at the 2700 block of Peck Pike in Milton.

Crews arrived on scene and found one vehicle on its top.

The vehicle had left the right shoulder of the roadway striking a telephone pole and then overturning several times ejecting the driver of the vehicle.

Due to the drivers injuries Air Methods KY11 out of Bedford was called to the scene and transported the driver to U of L.

The roadway was shut down for a couple of hours due to the telephone pole being broken in half and live wires in the roadway.

Shelby RECC was on scene placing a new pole as crews cleared.

Milton Fire & Rescue, Trimble County EMS, Trimble County Sheriff's Department and Air Methods all responded to the scene.
