Situation On Milton-Madison Bridge Closes It To Traffic

Closed for over an hour

Milton-Madison Bridge closed to traffic for over an hour this morning due to a jumper situation.

Bridge was reopened around 10:20.

According to Milton Fire and Rescue, today was a great coordinated response that made for a good ending to a bad situation.

Thank you to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department and the Madison City Police for their response and efforts.
