Six Arrested In Seymour Following Kidnapping That Sent A Teen To The Hospital

All six are facing multiple charges including confinement and burglary. Four of the six are also facing kidnapping charges.  

(Seymour, Ind.) – Six people were arrested after police say there were involved in a kidnapping that sent an 18-year-old to the hospital.

According to the Seymour Police Department, this incident took place on Thursday, October 15 when the police responded to Schneck Medical Center on the report of an injured individual. Once at the hospital, officers learned that the teen was hit in the head with a gun for not paying $200 for marijuana.

The teen had stated that the individuals showed up at the Allstate Inn and assaulted him in the parking lot.

Police stated the six suspects held another individual at gunpoint and forced them into a hotel room. While in that hotel room, at least three others were held at gunpoint.

Police say that before leaving the hotel the suspects took two dogs, a tattoo machine, and cellphones.

Five individuals were arrested by the officers on Tuesday, October 20. Those suspects were26-year-old Jacqueline Page Silvers, 22-year-old Isaiah Dylan Emery, 18-year-old Shannon Lee Barger, 18-year-old James Allen Zachary Gibbs, and 20-year-old Patrick Levi Silvers.

According to the police, the sixth subject 19-year-old Noah Braiden Ray turned himself in on Wednesday.

All six are facing multiple charges including confinement and burglary. Four of the six are also facing kidnapping charges.
