Southwestern Schools Join Madison Calling School So Teachers Can Attend ISTA Event

Missed day will be made up by Southwestern

Southwestern schools will join Madison and other school corporations across Indiana will not hold classes on Tuesday, November 19th so teachers and staff can attend the Indiana State Teachers Association Red for Ed Action Day event in Indianapolis which will call on lawmakers to address issues that teachers and school staff face.

Southwestern made the decision at last nights school board meeting.

The day will be made up at a later date.

Around 29 teachers are looking to attend from Southwestern.
