Subject Found Dead After Search On Parole Violation Warrant through Madison Parole District

The Jennings Co. Sheriff's Department conducted a search in the Paris Crossing area for Joseph Guadagnoli, 26, of Madison.

Mr. Guadagnoli was located deceased inside a residence in the Paris Crossing area.

Mr. Guadagnoli eluded deputies since the early morning hours of Tuesday July 17th when Deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant for him. Mr. Guadagnoli was wanted on a Parole Violation Warrant through Madison Parole District.

Jennings County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Lee, was patrolling the area when he observed an open door to a residence which had previously been noted as closed.

Upon further investigation Deputies located a back door that had been forced open.

Deputies conducted a safety sweep off the residence at which time they located Mr. Guadagnoli deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The homeowner of the residence was not home at the time.
