Switzerland County Sheriff's Office are investigating a death at Belterra Casino and Resort.

Cause of death is yet to be determined

Deputies with the Switzerland County Sheriff's Office are investigating a death at Belterra Casino and Resort. 

Deputies say an unresponsive female was found in a hotel room at the casino. The female, identified as 24-year old Cherish Damerst of Rising Sun, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Switzerland County Coroner. 

A cause of death is yet to be determined. The sheriff's office urges anyone who has any information surrounding this death to contact the sheriff's office at  812.427.3636.
