Three Arrested on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

December 1, 2021, Madison Police Patrolmen Curtis Shelpman, and Josh Nolan executed a traffic stop on Wilson Avenue just North of Clifty Drive.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as Felicity M. Forsythe, 22, Madison, Indiana.  The passenger's in Forsythe's vehicle were identified as Nicholas D. Martinez 24, Hanover, Indiana, and Stephanie M. Wells 24, Madison, Indiana. During the subsequent investigation, officers found all three to be in possession of narcotics.

Felicity Forsythe faces charges of L-6 possession of methamphetamine, A/M dealing marijuana and C/M possession of paraphanailia.  

Nicholas Martinez faces charges of L-6 possession of methamphetamine, C/M possession of paraphanailia.  In addition to the local charges, Martinez was found to have an active parole warrant for his arrest. 

Stephanie Wells faces charges of L-5 possession of methamphetamine. C/M possession of paraphanailia, and A/M unlawful possession or use of a legendary drug.  Forsythe, Martinez, and Wells have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.  Captain Season Jackson assisted with the arrests.
