Trimble Co. Schools Announce Dates For Kindergarten, Head Start Registration

These dates are April 16 and April 23.

(Trimble County, Ky.) – Trimble County Public Schools has announced that the dates for kindergarten and preschool and head start registration.

If your child will be five years old by August 1, 2021, they are eligible to be registered for kindergarten. Parents can register their children on April 16 and 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Bedford Elementary School, or April 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Milton Elementary School.

Parents must bring a certified copy of their child’s birth certificate, social security cards, and certified immunization certificate in order to register.

All information regarding the physical examination and eye exams will be expected to be turned in on the day of registration, but no later than the first day of the new school year. There will also be an Academic Screener is also done during this day, which means that the parent/guardian must accompany the child to the registration.

The school is also currently taking registration for the Trimble County Preschool and Head Start registrations and screenings will be held at the Trimble County Board Office.

Registration will be held on Friday, April 16, and Friday, April 23 for children ages 3 to 4.

Parents/Guardians must provide the child’s birth certificate, immunization certificate, proof of residency, parent/ guardian’s proof of income, and driver’s license or picture ID.
