Two Killed Following Police Pursuit

From Gallatin Co. to Oldham Co.

A man and a woman are dead after an exchange of gunfire with police following a pursuit.

The chase started yesterday in Gallatin County before ending with gunshots on the Exit 14 ramp of I-71 in Oldham County.

KSP is not releasing much information but said a 911 call came in for some sort of a distress call in Gallatin County.

Kentucky State Police say no officers were injured.

It's unclear what happened moments before the shooting itself on the ramp or who fired the first shots.

Oldham police and the Oldham County Sheriff's Office were also on the scene.
