Juvenile flown to Louisville

At 2:13 p.m. on 9-2-2021, Milton Fire & Rescue responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Palmyra Rd and Trout Ridge Rd. Crews arrived on the scene and found an ATV that was operated by a juvenile male who had pulled out of Trout Ridge Rd in front of an oncoming white Dodge Dart operated by a female from Bedford KY. Crews assisted EMS with the patient and set up a landing zone for Air Methods Kentucky 11 in a nearby field for the juvenile male. The juvenile male was transported to Louisville by Air Methods for his non-life-threatening injuries. The female driver of the other vehicle refused treatment and transport. Kentucky State Police is investigating the accident. Milton Fire & Rescue, Trimble County EMS, Kentucky State Police, and Air Methods Bedford were all on the scene.
