IHSVCA ACADEMIC ALL-STATE:
Not only does Indiana have some of the best high school volleyball players in the country, but we also has some some of the best and the brightest. More than 170 high schools have at least one or more Academic All-State honorees. It takes team effort to put a winning squad on the court. It also takes team effort to win in the classroom. Congratulations to the ladies, their coaches and schools for putting the student in student-athlete.

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its weekly football awards Monday afternoon, with Hanover sophomore Shawn Coane (Evansville, Ind.) picking up the offensive honor.
