Hanover women's basketball in HCAC Title Game

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 29th:

HCAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT:

Semi-Finals

Hanover is back into the conference championship game for the first time since the 2014-2015 season after they defeated Franklin 72-59. Panthers will take on host and #1 seed Transylvania for the championship and automatic bid to the NCAA DIII Tournament. Alexis Nall 32, Savannah Courtney 13 and former Madison Lady Cub Katie Hartman 10 to lead Hanover. In their last appearance in the title game the Panthers played at Transylvania and defeated the Pioneer 106-98, Megan Caudill had 33 points and Alicia Hopkins 29. Hanover has split with Transylvania this season losing in Lexington and winning at home. Game will be streamed on https://team1sports.com/transy/ at 11:30am Sunday

Trimble Co. boys were 8th and girls 15th in the Mason County Indoor Invitational.

SUNDAY, MARCH 1st:

HCAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP:

Hanover falls to #15th ranked Transylvania 91-61. Transy receives the automatic bid to the NCAA DIII Tournament while the Panthers, who were rated #9 in the Great Lakes Region coming into the tournament will have to wait to see if they will be selected as a at large team on Monday at 2:30 on the NCAA DIII Women's Basketball Selection Show. Alexis Nall lead Hanover with 18 and Savannah Courtney 11.
