HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

 

Madison fell to Lawrenceburg 47-33. Daesja Jay led the Lady Cubs with 11 points and Jade Nutley 10.

Switzerland Co. opens the season with a 57-37 win over South Dearborn. Aleiah Ragsdale had 21 points to lead the Pacers and Jessie Duvall had 12.

Shawe’s suffered its second loss to a ranked team in as many games, falling 71-17 at Class A No. 3 Jac-Cen-Del.

 

The Hanover College men's basketball team opened its 2019-20 season Tuesday evening with a 68-58, road victory over Spalding. Mark Albers lead three Panthers in double figures with 12 points. Isaac Hibbard added 11 and Kevin Williams 10.
