HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

A 11 run first led Southwestern to a 16-1 5 inning win over New Washington. Abby Fulton 4-4, Double,3 RBI, 2 Runs scored for the Lady Rebels.

Madison falls to Hauser 14-4 in five innings. Bailey Dyer 2-3 with a run scored and 2 rbi’s for the Lady Cubs.

Carroll Co. moves to 5-0 on the season with a 1-0 win over Simon Kenton. Mallory Besselman hits a triple then scores the game winning run on Jordan Rays bunt.

Milan over Shawe 19-1

 

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL:

Clarksville’s Webster Walls connects on a two run homer in the top of the 7 to defeat Southwestern 3-2

Carroll Co. falls to Rising Sun 8-4. Logan Rodgers was 3-for-4 for Carroll and David Duncan was 2-for-3 with three runs scored.

South Dearborn over Switzerland Co. 11-1

 

HIGH SCHOOL TRACK:

Southwestern boys finished first and the girls 2nd in a 4-team meet at Switzerland County. Switzerland Co. girls won their meet and the boys were 2ndSouthwestern Boys 92 points, Switzerland County 46; Rising Sun 44; Milan 43. Switzerland County Girls 79.5 points; Southwestern 58, Milan 50.5; Rising Sun 34.

 

HIGH SCHOOL GOLF:

Madison shot a 161 to defeat both Austin (202) and Scottsburg (204).

 

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

Baseball falls to Centre 5-1

Softball splits with Franklin winning game one 7-1 and falling in game two 14-3 in five innings.

Men’s Lacrosse defeats Anderson 17-3

Women’s Lacrosse falls to DePauw 16-4

Men’s Tennis defeated by Earlham 7-2
