Hanover men remain undefeated

HANOVER COLLEGE BASKETBALL:

 The Hanover men's basketball team remained perfect at 5-0 as they defeated Franklin on the opening night of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action, 70-51. With the win, Hanover has now claimed six straight HCAC opening game victories. Isaac Hibbard led the Panthers with 17 points. Kevin Williams added 16 and Logan Ratts 15

The Hanover women's basketball team claimed their fourth straight Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opening game victory on Wednesday evening as the team used a balanced attack to defeat area rival Franklin, 70-58. With the win, Hanover has defeated Franklin in six straight meetings. Former Madison Lady Cub, Katie Hartman along with Alexis Nall led the Panthers with 14 points each.

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Madison finished on a 28-8 run to defeat Floyd Central 52-37. Jade Nutley led the Lady Cubs with 15 points. Paige Young added 14 and Lundun Perry had 11.
