(Cincinnati, Oh.) - Just when many thought they would have to watch the Reds season only on television, the team announced Thursday that they will submit a plan to bring fans back to Great American Ball Park during the 2020 season.

According to Reds President and COO Phil Castellini, the plan will include filling the ballpark at 20 percent capacity.

That number would allow each fan to observe social distancing measures, with six feet of space between parties, Castellini stated.

There was not a frim date provided on when fans can expect to return to Great American, as of now.

That plan would first require the approval of the Cincinnati Health Department, followed by the approval of Major League Baseball. Only then would the plan be submitted to the governor for approval, Castellini said.
