Foster Mefford makes top 100 workout.

Congratulations to Foster Mefford, boys basketball player for Southwestern, as he has been selected to take part in the IBCA/IHSAA Top 100 workout on June 20 at Ben Davis High School. Many NCAA coaches will be on hand to watch these players. Mefford led the Rebels this year to a 17-9 record, scoring just under 22 points a game, while adding 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals per game.

Former Cincinnati Bengals Tight End Tyler Eiffert has agreed to a 2 year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In Baseball, New York Mets Starting Pitcher Noah Syndergaard has a torn ligament in his right elbow and is expected to undergo Tommy John Surgery. This will keep him out likely into the summer months of next year.
