The ladies announced their presence tonight. It pains me to say it, but I don't think I've ever had four under 50 strokes at the same time.

I'm not sure what it was, but (Assistant) Coach (Amanda) Detmer and I think the difficulty of the first couple of days really helped us this evening. We went from grinding out long, tough tournaments, to a relatively mild evening on a friendly course. Those top four just kind of breezed through it. It was really cool to witness.

Emmi just kind of did her thing. She was sailing until a nearly lost ball threw her rhythm off. I know she was disappointed not breaking 40, but she'll get there.

Aleigh, Eliza, and Izzie all shot personal bests tonight. Aleigh and Eliza weren't surprises, though. They've been tracking since the preseason. Really, if I'm being honest Izzie isn't a surprise either if you could see her practices. Her first two tournaments were rough and we were starting to gameplan how to get her where her potential is. She did really well tonight.

The next step is consistency. Can we stay in this area before we make the next jump? New Albany and Valley View on Saturday is going to be a good measuring stick.
