Same year Madison won state title in Baseball, also Shawe lost to 1A State Runner Milan in Sectional Championship 

Southwestern was coach that year by Current Hanover College Football Coach Matt Theobald 

Southwestern was eliminated that year in the semi-state to State Champion Evansville Mater Dei

Congratulations to Trinity Lutheran High School on winning the 2024 IHSAA 1A Baseball Sectional #62 Championship hosted by Shawe Memorial!

The Trinity Lutheran Cougars defeated the Sectional Runner-Up, Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers, by the final score of 2-8 after the top of the 7th inning. Shawe ended their season at 11-14 Shawe said goodbye to 5 seniors, Jacob Hertz, Philip Kahn, Casey Hill, Zach Gish and Ryker Brooks.

Trinity Lutheran advances to the IHSAA 1A Regional where they will play the South Central Sectional #61 winner on Saturday, June 1st. Good luck at Regionals!
