BASEBALL:

 Shawe 9, Milan 8

Shawe Memorial saved their best for last Wednesday night beating ORVC foe, Milan, 9-8 in walk-off fashion.  The  Hilltoppers trailed 8-3 with 1 out in the bottom of the 7th when they erupted for 6 runs with the winning hit coming from Ryker Brooks.  Brooks and Jacob Hart  each had 3 hits with Brooks knocking in 2 runs.  Zach Gish had a huge bases clearing double in the last inning. Tyler Hill had a single and an RBI.  Philip Kahn added 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Jacob Hertz also singled. Hertz took the bump to start going 6 &2/3 innings allowing 8 runs only 3 earned on 10 hits with 8 strikeouts.  Brooks picked up the win getting the final out in the top of the 7th.
