MADISON GIRLS BASKETBALL COACH ADAM DENNIS HAS RESIGNED AFTER FOUR YEARS ON THE SIDELINES FOR CUBS In his four years as head coach, HE WAS 56-37 and reached the sectional championship twice. This past season, the Lady Cubs were 18-6 and spent most of the season ranked in the top 10 before falling short in a talent-packed sectional. 

Longtime basketball, softball coach, Dwight Inskeep, passed away last following a brief illness during his tenure as a head coach he spent seven seasons as both the head girls basketball coach and softball coach at Shawe Memorial High School, winning a softball sectional title with  the Hilltoppers in 1998. He was an assistant girls basketball coach at Trimble County High School for several years and was on the bench when the Lady Raiders reached the Sweet Sixteen in 2017, he had spent the last few years as an assistant coach for the Madison Lady Cubs Funeral services for  will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Lytle Welty Funeral Home,  Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday, April 10 and 9 a.m. until the time of the service  Saturday.
