GOLF:

Madison shoots a 342 to win its 13th IHSAA Girls Golf Sectional championship and 3rd-straight. Switzerland County finishes 2nd with a 404 to advance to the regional and Southwestern's Paisley Hendrix qualifies for the regional with a 117.

Madison's Emmi Dowell shatters the Sunrise Sectional record with a 4-under 69 win the Sectional, beating Keara Eder's record by 2 strokes. The Cubs' Eliza Burnette is second overall with an 84. Southwestern's Paisley Hendrix qualified for the regional and Alexis Mangold led Switzerland County to a regional berth.

Cross Country:

Trimble County Cross Country traveled to Williamstown to compete in the Williamstown Invitational. Addie Oldson and Avery Stockdale had top 20 runs in their respective races.

Southwestern's Mikayla Nussbaum, Tori Gammons, Savannah Nussbaum and Sophie Ford all Finished top 10 and received medals for their efforts

Shawe Memorial Boys participated in the Golden Bear Invitation hosted by Shelbyville H.S. on Saturday morning at the Blue

For the boys: Cavaan Hambrick placed 106^th with a time of 18:27, Cohenn Hambrick placed - 184th – 19:43, Luke Gardner- placed 235^th – 25:43, Nate Fewell – still battling injuries placed 238^th – 26:02

Shawe did not have any girls participating in this meet
