Madison, IN: Madison Athletics announces approval of Winter Athletic Plan and Turkey Shootout information.

On Saturday, Madison Athletics Director, Joe Bronkella, announced that Madison Consolidated Schools had received approval from the Jefferson County Health Department on the Winter Athletics Plan submitted earlier in the week. “We met as a team, discussed learning from our fall seasons, made a few changes and appreciate the quick turnaround from our local partners,” Bronkella shared. “As with our initial reopening plan we have taken guidance from state and local health professionals, as well as, IHSAA as we look to move our events indoors. In addition, we have worked closely with a number of area schools to share our learning and best practices so we could find some alignment and collectively provide the safest environments possible as we host and travel to events.”
