Rain go away for the local sports

Louisville is expected to announce Chris Mack as its new basketball coach today.  Mack has spent the past nine years as the head coach at Xavier.  ESPN yesterday said Mack's new contract is worth about four-million-dollars a year over seven years.  Mack tweeted a goodbye to Xavier yesterday, though he didn't mention Louisville by name.

The Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team is set to battle Mississippi State in the Final Four in Columbus on Friday.  If the Cards win that game, they'll advance to Sunday's National Championship game.

Utah defeats Western Kentucky 69-64 in the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden. Utah will play Penn State in tomorrow’s final.
