Ryan Nowicki promoted to Men's Associate Head Coach At Hanover College

He played four seasons with the Panthers

HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover College men's basketball team is proud to announce the elevation of Ryan Nowicki to associate head coach. Nowicki, a 2013 graduate of Hanover College, enters his seventh season on the bench of the Panthers after joining the team for the 2016-17 season. Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Ryan competed for the Panthers men's basketball team for four seasons.
 
"I am happy for Ryan as he has worked hard and is very deserving of this promotion," praised head coach Jon Miller. "He has been involved in all areas of our program and has been a key contributor in our program's success. I greatly value his insight on a daily basis as we work together to make decisions that will be in the best interests of our teams and program." 
 
"In addition, Ryan has built great relationships with our student-athletes and has been a big part of the successes they have achieved both on and off the court.  I am excited for the chance to continue working with him."
 
Over his past six seasons with the program, Nowicki has helped propel the Blue and Red to a 115-37 overall record, including a 70-20 mark in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action. He was also a key component of the programs deepest NCAA Tournament run in 2016-17, advancing to the Elite Eight.
 
He has mentored several All-Conference student-athletes including Cam Fails and Wes McKinney who both went on to be named D3hoops.com All-Americans.
 
During his playing career, Nowicki surpassed the 1,000-career point mark and was named the 2013 Hanover College Male Senior Athlete of the Year. He was a three-time All-Conference selection and served as team captain for three seasons.
