Shawe's Barron Breaks Scoring Record, Named ORVC Player of the Week

(Madison, Ind.) - A record-breaking performance highlights the latest ORVC Report for January 12-17. 

Shawe Memorial senior Audrey Barron is the ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week. The Lady Hilltoppers star totaled 104 points, 21 rebounds, 16 steals and 11 assists over three games. In that span, she broke Shawe Memorial's all-time scoring record against Villa Madonna at the iconic Hoosiers Gymnasium in Knightstown. 

Barron currently leads the ORVC in scoring at 28.8 points per game. 

The ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week is Milan's Gabe Riehle. The Indians star scored 48 points and ripped down 20 rebounds in two games. Riehle currently ranks second in the conference in scoring (20.4) behind his teammate, Micah Norman (22.6 PPG).
