Dolly Parton Looking For Extras In Upcoming Netflix Series

Filming in Atlanta

Dolly Parton is looking for ordinary people to appear in her upcoming Netflix series.

Her company, Dixie Pixie Productions, is teaming up with Warner Brothers to produce the series.

Each episode will focus on one of the Dolly's songs, and the country icon will even appear in a few of them.

The "Atlanta Journal-Constitution," reports extras are wanted for a variety of scenes.  Filming starts in Atlanta on September 19th.

The gig will pay $75 for eight hours and producers are looking to fill a variety of roles.

The casting descriptions for each part:

For the WWII soldiers, producers want Caucasian men between the ages of 18 to 26 who are clean shaven and willing to get a period haircut.

For 1940s townsfolk, producers are looking for Caucasian men and women ages 18 and up. Men should be clean shaven and willing to get a period haircut.

For war amputees, producers want Caucasian men between the ages of 18 to 26 who are real amputees. Again, they must be clean shaven and willing to get a period haircut.

The diner staff role will consist of African-American men age 35 and up, who are clean shaven and willing to get a period cut.

And lastly, the facial expressions part asks for Caucasian men age 35 and up to portray "stone-faced yet reactionary citizens."

Depending on the role, filming will take place from September 11 to 25. Anyone who fits the casting requirements can email submissions@catrettcasting for a chance to appear in an episode of the show
