Power out for nearly two hours
A small storm caused storm damage in northern Trimble County late yesterday afternoon.
Trees, parts of a barn and other items blew away.
Shelby Energy said two feeder lines were out in the Milton substation causing a power outage. Burkhardt bottom, 625, McCord Lane, Liberty, and Fisher Ridge areas.
Power was restored around 8:30 last evening.
The storm formed in Orange Co. Indiana and moved east. NWS radar indicated a small area of strong winds inside the thunderstorm that moved through Hanover, Madison and into Trimble Co.
Trees were reported down on Cragmont, Park Ave and Wall in the downtown area of Madison.
