(Madison, Ind.) - Arvin Sango Foundation has signed on as lead sponsor for Madison Main Street’s 2021 events.

“COVID-19 has impacted every person and business since March of 2020. It has placed a pause on every event and impacted our community in ways we still do not understand. We could not be more thrilled to have their support in our efforts to connect the community with our local businesses and organization,” said Main Street Executive Director Austin Sims.

Madison Main Street works to ensure the preservation-based economic vitality of Madison’s historic downtown commercial district. Madison was one of the first three original Main Street pilot communities in the United States, which started in 1977. MMSP, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is designated by Indiana Main Street as a nationally accredited Main Street America program. In 2020, MMSP canceled the June Music in the Park, due to COVID-19 restrictions. Other events, such as Small Business Saturday, Farm to Table, and Holiday Open House were either canceled or dramatically reduced due to COVID-19. These events play a strong role in driving foot traffic into our downtown businesses.

“Arvin Sango’s motto is ‘Our World, Our Company, and let us work for our own and everyone’s prosperity and with this in mind we have historically been a strong supporter of local activities and projects,” stated Scott Hubbard, the Executive Vice President of Arvin Sango, Inc. Arvin Sango Foundation will be a leading sponsor for Music in the Park, Loft Tour, Small Business Saturday, Farmers Market of Madison, Farm to Table Dinner, and Downtown Open Houses. Arvin Sango Foundation is a contributor to many local charities and community projects.

Hubbard also added, “When we looked at the program of the events put on by the Main Street organization, we felt like sponsoring their 2021 programming was an ideal opportunity to support Madison and its small businesses and to help them bring the community out and about again after a difficult 2020. We are looking forward to seeing the social side of Madison bloom again this year.”

"Arvin Sango is a leader in its industry and its support to our community. We can't thank them enough for this unprecedented sponsorship" stated Randy Lakeman, President of the Madison Main Street Program.
