WORK EXPECTED TO BE COMPLETED THIS FALL

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind.— Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dave O'Mara Contractor Inc. plans to begin work next week on a $2.8 million asphalt resurface contract in Jefferson County.
Beginning on or after Monday, April 3 motorists should anticipate lane closures beginning on State Road 62 north of S.R. 356 and west of S.R. 56. The project will be completed under flagging operations as crews work to complete asphalt patching, milling and paving.
The contract was awarded to Dave O'Mara in September 2022 and is expected to be complete this fall. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active construction zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
