Ben Schmitt joins German American Insurance

Ben Schmitt has recently joined the German American Insurance team as a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant based in the Evansville office to support the company’s growing footprint.

He works with human resources and executives to identify and eliminate the medical overspend in their health plan to drive the best value. By focusing on quality, efficiency, and best-in-class care within the healthcare supply chain, he helps clients achieve a competitive advantage through talent acquisition and increased cash flow.

Adding Ben, with his extensive knowledge in employee benefits and the commercial insurance industry, enables us to be a complete financial resource for our business

Ben graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He has over 15 years of experience in the benefits and financial services industry and is a Certified Self Funding Specialist (CSFS). Ben resides in Newburgh with his wife, Jennie, and their four children and new puppy.
