VOLLEYBALL 

Hanover wrapped up the Albion/Olivet Invite with a 2-1 weekend, earning wins over Baldwin Wallace and Olivet before falling to Albion on Saturday morning. The Panthers opened the weekend with a statement 3-1 victory over Baldwin Wallace, followed with a 3-0 sweep of Olivet, and closed the invite with a 3-0 loss to Albion.

Shawe Memorial Boys XC team participated on Saturday morning at the Duke Meyer Invitational hosted by Madison Consolidated High School. There were 12 teams participating with a total of 108 runners and came away with a strong 4^th place finish.

Shawe Girls 5, Brown County 1

Shawe girls took on sectional opponent Brown County Eagles today both teams coming in with impressive records Shawe 10 an 0 Eagles 9 an 2. Lady Toppers coming out on top 5 to 1 taking their record to 11 - 0 - 0 and 4 and 0 in the conference. Scoring started 2 minutes 30 seconds in when Maria Ameca-mendoza  took a shot and had it knocked down but Justice Kuntz  was there to put it in. Then at the 35th minute Justice made a cross  to Kinsley Pollitt in front of the goal for a 2 to 0 lead and that was the half time score. Then 11 minutes in the second Justice made a thru pass to Maria on the run for a 1 touch shot finding the back of the net 14 minutes later Maria returned the favor to Justice for a shot 15yards out on the right side making it 4 to 0 . The 2 minutes later Charly Eddins slipped one past Ava for a 4 to 1 score.

 Maria scored with 10 minutes left when she got behind the goalie for a easy tap to make the final score 5 to 1. Next up Rock Creek academy  on Tuesday at Shawe field  with it being senior night.

Hanover Men 5, Franklin 1

 Hanover Panthers (3-2-3 overall, 1-0 HCAC) opened Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a win at Franklin, 5-1.

Hanover Women 2, Franklin 0

Hanover (5-3-1 overall, 1-0 HCAC) opened Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon defeating rival Franklin 2-0.

TENNIS: 

Southwestern Boys Tennis Team won the Southern Indiana Tennis Conference Championship. Quinton Lewis, Colton Deputy, and Luke Coles made the All Conference Team, and Jason Poteet won Coach of the Year

VOLLEYBALL 

Madison Lady Cubs won the Hope Heritage Days Invitational Tournament this weekend, defeating Ohldenberg Academy 25-19, 15-25, 15-9.  

Madison Defeated South Dearborn, Franklin County, and host Hauser in working their way to the Championship.

Lady Cubs were led by seniors Anna Black and Brittan Neuman offensively, and defensively by juniors Izzy True and Natty Montgomery.  Somphmore setter did a great job running the offense all day.

Southwestern won the Marc Baum Memorial Tournament today with a record of 4-0!

Southwestern defeated Shawe 2-0: 25-11, 25-9

Southwestern defeated Paoli 2-1: 25-15, 21-25, 15-10

Southwestern defeated Austin 2-1: 25-27, 25-17, 15-7

Southwestern defeated South Central 2-0: 25-21, 25-16 - championship match
