Water main break on Miller Street

Due to a water main break Tuesday, October 8, 2019 on Miller Street.  The City of Madison Water and Sewage Dept. has issued a boil water advisory for those affected for at least 48 hours.

The streets affected will be Green Rd. from Michigan Rd. to Cragmont St., all of Miller St. east of Cragmont, Holly Lane, Meridian St., Marion St. and Blackmore from State St. north to Miller. 

Those who experience low to no water pressure are advised to boil water intended for consumption over the next 48 hours.  Water used for consumption must be boiled for 3-5 minutes.  For dishwashing in private residences, a few drops of bleach per gallon of water will also provide adequate disinfection.
